Huawei is expected to announce its new flagship Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphones in October 16. Leading up to the launch we’re seeing a lot rumors surface online around the two devices. While a lot of details have been revealed, new hands on images of the smartphone confirm the Mate 20 Pro to come with a curved screen and 128GB storage.
The images posted by Slashleaks, showcases the device to be covered by a big case, which hides most of its design details. However, the images do confirm the smartphone to come with a big-screen display, which as leaks have suggested will measure 6.9 inches diagonally. The screen can also be seen carrying curved edges, just like Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.
One of images also showcases the Settings app open on the screen. While most of text here is written in Chinese, the storage option on the device shows the smartphone to have 98.86GB of free internal storage. This leads us to believe that the smartphone has a total storage of 128GB. It also looks like the smartphone is running Huawei’s latest EMUI version, which is based on Android 9 Pie OS. However, there is no way to confirm that.
While the images here give us a look at Mate 20 Pro’s 6.9-inch screen, a recent report from a Dutch website called MobielKopen confirms the device to sport a QHD+ resolution with 1440 x 3120 pixels. Not just that, the report also claims the Mate 20 to sport a 6.3-inch screen and carry a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels. The website claims to have spotted the information in code on Huawei’s own website.
