A new smartphone has been spotted on TENAA with Huawei branding, which could be the much-rumored Mate S2. The listing reveals what the upcoming smartphone could look like, and we must say the overall design is quite familiar looking, and in fact it reminds up of the Huawei-made Nexus 6P. The listing reveals gold colored Huawei Mate S2, which looks very much similar to last year’s Nexus 6P. At the back you will find a fingerprint sensor along with the black strap that holds the camera and the flash. While the TENAA listing does not reveal any specifications of the smartphone, we have come across leaks before that give us some idea on what to expect. Huawei Mate S2 specifications
Based on what we have come across so far, the Mate S2 is expected to come with a 5.9-inch 1080p display. It will be powered by a Kirin 960 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.6GHz along with Mali T880 GPU, and 4GB of RAM. Also included should be 64GB internal storage.
On the camera front, the smartphone will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera however earlier reports said that the device will sport a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is said to run the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. Reports suggest that Huawei Mate S2 will be priced roughly around 3,500 Yuan which is Rs 35,300 approximately.
