Google has made it official that it is hosting an event on September 29 in San Francisco. The tech giant is heavily expected to unveil the two new Nexus smartphones on that day, and leaks of the two devices have been aplenty. Now, in a fresh leak, we get to know more details about the storage variants of the two LG and Huawei-made Nexus smartphones this year. Android Police cites credible sources claiming that the Huawei-made Nexus 6P will come in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants. This is probably the first time that a Google smartphone will have a 128GB internal storage variant. Last year, the Nexus 6 came in 32GB and 64GB storage variants. Talking about the Nexus 5 follow-up LG Nexus 5X, it will come in 16GB and 32GB variants only, just like its predecessor. Apart from the storage variants, a lot of other spec details of the two smartphones have also been revealed. The big Huawei Nexus 6P is expected to flaunt a 5.7-inch QHD display running at a resolution of 2560 1440 pixels. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 810 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM, and will feature a 12-megapxiel rear camera with support for 4K video recording, and an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
The LG Nexus 5X is the smaller and affordable variant with a 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Furthermore, it is also expected to feature a 2,700mAh battery, and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The Nexus 5X 16GB variant is expected to be priced around $399 (approximately Rs 26,000), while the 32GB variant is expected to cost $449 (approximately Rs 29,300).
Google is expected to even release the commercial version of Android Marshmallow and the next-gen Chromecast, alongside the two Nexus smartphones.
