Google s Nexus 6P is in the news yet again for all the wrong reasons. Users on Google s Product Forum, XDA Developers as well as Reddit are complaining that the person on the other side of the call isn t able to hear them. The issue being reported is with voice calls as well as VOIP calls from service like Hangouts, when using either the earpiece or the speakerphone. While Google says it is looking into the issue, some users have found a rudimentary solution covering the rear-mounted microphone. Other users however claim that it is probably the obstructing of the rear microphone that is causing the issue in the first place.
The issue or the solution may not be clear, but what is clear is that many users are facing some kind of an issue with the microphones on the Nexus 6P. As mentioned above, Google has replied on its forums saying that it is looking into the issues.
Google and Huawei launched the Nexus 6P in India in October, with a price tag of Rs 39,999 for the 32GB variant, and Rs 42,999 for the 64GB variant.

Connectivity options include single-SIM card slot, 4G support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a USB Type-C port. This handset too features the Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor at the back. On the software front, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
