Huawei is new rumored to launch two smartphones – Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus featuring dual-camera setup. Details about the smartphones have been revealed ahead of an official announcement. The smartphones were recently spotted on Chinese certification website, TENAA.
The TENAA listing, spotted by Gizmochina, for the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus has revealed some photos that offer a closer look at the smartphone’s design. From what we can see, both the smartphones come with the dual camera setup at the rear and sporting a unibody design with metal back. Both the smartphones will come with fingerprint scanner placed at the back right below the camera. At the front, the display will dominate the screen. The Nova 2 Plus, as the name suggest will have comparatively larger display than the Nova 2. Other than that, up front, there is the earpiece and front camera. While the right edge houses the volume rocker and power/sleep button, the left edge houses a microSD card and SIM card tray. Up front, you can spot Huawei’s logo on the lower end.
Unfortunately, TENAA listing doesn’t reveal on sheet specifications. However, rumors from the past suggest that the Nova 2 Plus will feature 5.5 inches with the display. Under the hood, both the smartphones are expected to be powered by Hisilicon Kirin 660 processor. Other details of the device are not clear at the moment.
In comparison, the Huawei Nova, which launched last year, came with a 5-inch full-HD display. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and 4GB of RAM. Also on offer is 32GB and 64GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the Huawei Nova sports a 12-megapixel with f/2.0 sensor on the rear and an 8-megapixel camera up front. The smartphone is equipped with 3,020mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box wrapped under Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 UI.
