Here’s some news for Huawei Nova 3i users. Huawei is rolling out a software update for the smartphone that introduces security updates, and an interesting new feature.

Huawei is rolling out EMUI 8.2.0.131 update for the Nova 3i. The update is about 700MB in size, so you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection for the update process. The OTA update is being rolled out in phases, and should reach all users soon, MSP reports. Alternatively, you can manually check for the update by heading over to Settings -> About Phone -> Check for Update.

The OTA update brings Android security patch for the month of October to the device. But the highlight of the feature is the introduction of the Super Night mode in the device’s camera app. The feature was first seen on Huawei’s P20 series of smartphones. As the name suggests, it enables users to shoot great photos in low-light conditions. The feature uses Artificial Intelligence based algorithms to detect the lighting conditions, and accordingly adjust the various settings for the best result possible.
