Huawei’s P9 smartphone created a lot of buzz this year, all thanks to the dual-camera setup which was co-developed by Leica. As we inch closer to the end of the year, all eyes are on how the Chinese company will better the P9. If these concept renders are to be believed, then the Huawei P10 will be one to look out for. The images, first spotted by Gizmochina, reveal the design of the smartphone. While the P9 was lauded for its design, the company has made sure that the P10 comes with a even more interesting and stunning design. From the images, one of the first things we can spot is that Huawei will carry forward the Leica partnership for the P10 as well. Along with the Leica branding, you can also spot the dual-camera setup on the back with dual-LED flash as well as laser-focus. We can see a fingerprint sensor as well. Up front, the smartphone comes with a Xiaomi Mi MIX like bezel-less display which makes the phone looks even more stunning. The render also suggests that the smartphone won’t come with a curved-display. The render images also reveals that the P10 might be quite thick ditching the sleek design. The reports also claim that the upcoming smartphone could come with a secondary display, not very unlike the LG V20. In the case of the P10 though, the secondary display seems to be placed on the side, and has icons for battery, Wi-Fi connectivity, network tower and headphone connectivity. Right below the secondary display, you can spot a rectangular button which might mostly be the power button and can also double up as the fingerprint scanner. Though it looks good, we must admit that the renders are a tad too good to be true. We will advise the usual caution before believing in them.
There’s currently no word on the specifications and features of the Huawei P10. But when you consider the Huawei P9, it came with a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display, Kirin 955 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage, and microSD card slot.
Apart from the dual-camera setup at the back, the smartphone also featured an 8-megapixel selfie camera, 3,000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner, and connectivity options like 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 2.4G/5G, a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port. On the software front, the Huawei P9 runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
