Huawei is meant to hold an event in Paris on March 27, where it’s scheduled to launch the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro. However, for weeks now we had been hearing about a third variant in the new series – the P20 Lite – which we were expecting at the upcoming event as well. But bringing the device a little early, Huawei has launched the P20 Lite in Poland and Czech Republic already.
Huawei has listed the P20 Lite on its consumer website in Poland, and linked it to e-commerce sites where it is up for pre-order. The smartphone has also been launched in Czech Republic. Although, a formal showcasing of the device at the event in Paris is still expected.
As per the listing on the Polish website, the Huawei P20 Lite will sport a 5.84-inch fullHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is shown to be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor, which is accompanied with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB inbuilt storage.
There’s also a vertically-placed dual-camera setup on the rear, with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The P20 Lite is seen fueled by a 3000mAh battery, and comes with support for NFC, face recognition. Running the device is EMUI 8.0 layered on top of Android Oreo.\
As for the pricing, the Huawei P20 Lite is listed at PLN 1,599 (Rs 30,300 approximately).
Meanwhile, the a report from Czech Republic claims the smartphone priced at CZK 8,999 (Rs 28,300 approximately), with the date of release mentioned as April 1. Further, the phone will apparently be available in black, blue, and pink color variants.

Simultaneously, according to a Twitter post, a user in Italy purchased the Huawei P20 Lite from an offline store a few days ago, and got it for EUR 369 (Rs 29,500 approximately).
