Just a day ahead of launch, Huawei P20 and P20 Pro have been leaked in all their glory. Although that is not to say that the devices were a stranger to leaks (a myriad of them, actually) all this while, but leaks closer to the launch, just have a heavier weightage.
As claims a German retailer called Saturn, the full and true specification of the upcoming P20 duo have been laid down. In line with previous reports, the retailer suggests that the Huawei P20 series will go big on the camera. He reveals that the Huawei P20 will sport a combination of a 20-megapixel and a 12-megapixel camera setup, which will most likely be a Monochrome plus RGB setup.
The Huawei P20 Pro, on the other hand, will have a triple camera combination of 40-megapixel, 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors. The retailer reveals that the 40-megapixel sensor will reportedly serve as the primary camera, while the 8-megapixel one in the combination will serve as a telephoto addition with hybrid zoom, which is 3x optical zoom, 5x magnification. The third sensor will apparently be Monochrome sensor that will add to depth and details in low-light photos.
He further claims that the Huawei P20 will feature a 5.8-inch front panel with a resolution of 2240×1080 pixels. Under the hood, it will rock a Kirin 970 processor clocked at 2.36 GHz. The system on chip will apparently be accompanied with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, though there is no word on the microSD slot.
The Huawei P20 is believed to be fueled by a 3,340mAh battery, with support for quick top-ups via Huawei’s SuperCharge technology. As widely rumored, it will run EMUI 8.1 based on Android Oreo.
As for pricing, while the German retailer does not reveal much on that. But leak some weeks ago suggested that the Huawei P20 will be priced at €679 (Rs 54,000 approximately), whereas the P20 Pro will retails at €899 (Rs 72,000 approximately).
