Huawei made its two new smartphones, the P20 Pro and P20 Lite, available for Amazon Prime subscribers as part of early access sale yesterday. Now, the smartphones are generally available for purchase from the e-commerce platform. The Huawei P20 Pro is the flagship smartphone here with triple camera system while the P20 Lite is a mid-range device with flagship styling.
As part of the launch offer, the Huawei P20 Pro is available with an instant discount of Rs 5,000 on Axis Bank Credit and Debit cards while the P20 Lite gets an instant discount of Rs 1,500. Customers can also avail extra Rs 6,000 off on exchange for the P20 Pro and extra Rs 2,000 off on purchase of the P20 Lite. Both the smartphones are available with no cost EMI options and Vodafone users get additional 100GB free data for a period of 10 months.
Huawei P20 Pro Specifications and Price
Huawei P20 Pro is the premium smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker with a major focus on its camera. It features a Leica-branded triple camera system with a 40-megapixel primary lens with 1/1.7-inch sensor and f/1.8 aperture. The primary camera is accompanied by another 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture that acts as a telephoto lens with support for 3x optical zoom. There is also a third 20-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/1.6 aperture.
All the three cameras support optical image stabilization and laser autofocus. There is also a 24-megapixel selfie shooter at the front with f/2.0 aperture and support for 720p video recording. The Huawei P20 Pro is powered by company’s flagship Kirin 970 chipset along with a dedicated neural processing unit. The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage.
It features metal and glass design with a new back color called twilight that changes its hue according to light being reflected by the surface. The P20 Pro sports a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Like the iPhone X, Huawei P20 Pro also sports a notch that hides the front-facing camera and microphone.

Huawei P20 Pro, unlike other flagship smartphones, features a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. It features a non-removable 4,000mAh battery and uses USB Type-C port for charging. It supports wireless connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 4G LTE and runs Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI on top of it. It is priced at Rs 64,999 and will only available in blue color.
Huawei P20 Lite Specifications and Price
The Huawei P20 Lite borrows the design elements of Huawei’s flagship smartphone and offers it in a mid-range package. The front of the device is home to a 5.84-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and taller 19:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is Huawei’s mid-range Kirin 659 CPU with octa-core configuration aided by Mali-T830 MP2 graphics processor. It offers 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB via SD card slot.
On the camera front, the Huawei P20 Lite offers a combination of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual rear camera setup. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and support for 1080p video recording. It supports wireless connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 4G LTE and runs Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI on top of it. It also features a USB Type-C port and packs a smaller 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999 and will be available in black and blue color.
