There is possibly no detail left to be revealed about the Huawei P20 series. The series has showed up in multiple leaks in the past, leaked via reliable tipsters, and now adding to the trove of revelations is the press images of the P20, P20 Lite, and P20 Pro. Huawei is expected to launch the P20 series on March 27 but there is apparently nothing that we don’t know, courtesy leaks. Tipster Roland Quandt, who first revealed the prices of the smartphones, has now given us a peek at the press images of the smartphones, highlighting the new color options of the phones. Based on the images, we can expect the Huawei P20 Pro, which is the high-end model from the series, to be launched in color choices of Black, Blue and an unusual Twilight color which appears to be a Purple gradient. The P20 is expected to arrive in color choices of Black, Blue and Pink-Gold, while the P20 Lite is said to be available in Black, Blue and Pink color choices.
As WinFuture reports, some of the missing features such as battery capacities and storage have also been revealed through the latest leaks. It is likely the Huawei P20 will be fueled by a 3,400mAh battery while the P20 Pro will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The P20 Lite, on the other hand, could pack 3,250mAh battery. When it comes to storage expansion, the P20 is unlikely to feature any microSD card slot. This means users will have to rely on the given storage capabilities.
In terms of specifications, the P20 and P20 Pro are said to pack 19:9 display, dual-cameras on the P20 and P20 Lite version, triple camera setup on the P20 Pro, Kirin 970 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage. The P20 Lite is said to be powered by Kirin 659 SPC with 4GB of RAM. All models are likely to run Android Oreo out-of-the-box with EMUI 8.0 layered above.
Earlier this week, the Huawei P20 Porsche Design also surfaced on the web. The limited edition smartphone is expected to pack the same specifications as the P20 Pro, but will feature the triple camera setup positioned differently. It is also speculated the Porsche Design version will pack an in-display fingerprint sensor.
