Huawei has just released its first teaser for its forthcoming smartphone P9. The new teaser hints at the dual rear camera set up in the new Huawei smartphone. The Huawei P9 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch full HD display. It is likely to be powered by a Kirin 950 processor along with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is rumored to come with 32GB built-in storage. For photography, the smartphone is rumored to have a 12-megapixel dual-rear camera set up with OIS support. The smartphone is likely to run EMUI based Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It s worth pointing out that it is rumored to be 6.4mm slim and could house a relatively large 3,000 mAh battery. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is 7.9mm thick and has the same battery capacity. According to rumors, the smartphone is expected to be priced at $500, which translates to approximately Rs 33,400.
The P9 will follow up the last year s Huawei P8. The Huawei P8 comes with features such as 5.2-inch full HD display, HiSilicon Kirin 930 octa-core chipset and 3GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS support. It is powered by a 2,680 mAh battery. The smartphone launched at starting price of $532 (Rs 33,200 approximately).
Specifications of the two other Huawei smartphones, P9 Max and P9 Lite, have also leaked ahead of the official launch.
The Huawei P9 Max will have a big 6.2-inch display with QHD resolution. It will be powered by Kirin 955 chipset and 4GB of RAM, while internal storage will bumped up to 64GB. Rest of the specs of the device including 6.4 mm thickness and 12-megapixel dual rear camera set up is likely to be same of the Huawei P9. Rumors suggest the P9 Max will have the same 3,000 mAh battery. The P9 Max is expected to be priced at $700, which is Rs 46,700 approximately..
The P9 Lite is the cheapest of the lot, and it’s priced at $300, which is Rs 20,000 approximately. The Huawei P9 Lite is the smaller version of the P9. It is rumored to have 5-inch full HD display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 650 processor along with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage. The smartphone is powered by a smaller 2,500 mAh battery. Rest of the specifications remain the same including the dual 12-megapixel rear camera set up. It will be interesting to see how Huawei will design the smaller smartphone to integrate the dual camera set up.
