There are reports suggesting that Huawei might release a similar update to the Huawei P10 and Honor V9, but these updates are still in beta so users might have to wait a bit longer.

The Huawei Mate 9 sports a 5.9-inch full HD (1080p) display. It is powered by a Kirin 960 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB onboard storage options. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G LTE with VoLTE voice calling support, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The Mate 9 has a 4,000mAh non-removable battery.

The Huawei Mate 9 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 5.5-inch curved flexible display with the resolution bumped up to 2K and the fingerprint placed on the front.
