Huawei recently outlined its brand strategy for 2015 in the form of a presentation and said that it would be primarily focusing on new wearables and tablets at Mobile World Congress, Pocket-Lint reports. Huawei has an event scheduled at MWC on March 1.
First up will be an Android Wear smartwatch, with a round dial. It is expected to be priced aggressively to compete with the likes of the Motorola Moto 360. Huawei also reveals that it will be launching a smartband, which should be targeted at fitness enthusiasts. Huawei didn’t spill the beans any further and just stressed on how they are “creating something very different.”
Additionally, the company also revealed that it will be releasing a new range of tablets at MWC. There will however be no new smartphone unveiled at the event. A month later however, the company will be launching its flagship Ascend P8 at an event in London.
