Xiaomi is set to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, Mi 5, at the MWC 2016 later this month. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi has already revealed several features of the smartphone. One of the main highlights of the Mi 5 is going to be its camera. Xiaomi s global vice president, Hugo Barra, has just posted a stunning shot taken by the Mi 5. While posting the images on his Facebook page, Hugo Barra pointed out how the Xiaomi Mi 5 camera can take amazing shots without needing to go into manual settings or adjust anything apart from switching on HDR.
Spent the holidays hanging out with my folks .aaaaand playing around with the insanely AMAZING # Mi5 camera. I didn’t even have to fiddle with manual settings or adjust anything except turn on HDR this is a pure SOOC shot. I’ve cropped and zoomed in on the original, too, just so you can see the incredible details up close, he posted.

Barra s post comes shortly after the company s President Bin Lin posted a photo at a beach from what s believed to be the Mi 5. Lin s photo suggested the camera could come with features such as the Optical Image Stabilization and Laser Focus.
It s worth pointing out that the Mi 5 is rumored to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera. For selfies, it will come with an 8-megapixel front facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi 5 specifications and features: The smartphone is expected to come in two versions with different design variants – one with metal and the other with a 2.5D curved glass on the back and front. The metal-clad version is expected to be available in 32GB and 64GB storage options, featuring 3GB and 4GB of RAM respectively, and a 1080p display. The glass variant is likely to feature QHD display, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB and 64GB storage variants.
Other features of the smartphone include Snapdragon 820 processor, 3,600mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, IR Blaster and fingerprint scanner. Confirmed features of the smartphone include dual-SIM support and NFC support. There are also rumors of a Windows 10 version of the Mi 5.
