Hungama has released its Pro service on iOS in order to expand its reach to the users. With the Pro service, which is already available on Android platform, users will be able to stream audio as well as video even in the offline mode or when Internet is not available.
With Hungama Pro users will be able to listen to music as well as watch videos offline without advertisements. It is a paid service however the company is offering one-month free trial on the service as a launch offer.
To subscribe to the Pro service, a user can either download it from iTunes at a subscription model of Rs 120 per month or can opt for customized packages for a day, week or month on the basis of operator billing option.
Hungama is not the first online music service to offer this feature as its competitors like Saavn and Gaana also offer similar offline caching service to their subscribers. However, while the other two services are restricted to music streaming in the offline mode, Hungama’s service claims to stream videos as well.
