Cab service company Olacabs received a rather peculiar request from a customer yesterday. A Hyderabad-based physician Seelam Veerapa Naidu tweeted at Olacabs if there could be an option to choose a driver based on their religious faiths. As soon as he tweeted this odd conservative request, Olacabs won the Internet with an apt reply, which not only got lauded by Twitter users but also the likes of rivals Uber and Easy Cabs but also former J&K chief minister, Omar Abdullah. This is the odd request made by Naidu, and not worrying about keeping its customer happy this time, Olacabs took the morally right route.

Twitter users have been raising some serious questions at Naidu ever since he tweeted about his preference for a Hindu driver. The response was a neat blow by Olacabs to all the racial and ethnic discriminators. Predictably, Olacabs is being applauded on Twitter for its response. Here are some of the most laudable responses to Naidu’s Hindu driver request to Olacabs.
