After launching the iBall Andi 4F Waves smartphone earlier this month, the Indian technology company has just launched an octa-core tablet to widen its product portfolio and strengthen its position in the market. The device is called the iBall Slide Octa A41 and has an ARM Cortex octa-core processor, and is priced at a lucrative Rs 14,999. The pricing of the device comes as a pleasant surprise, as all the other competitive octa-core tablets are priced way above iBall’s offering. The iBall Slide Octa A41 sports a 8-megpixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The add-on camera features include voice capture, face detection, smile shot, self timer, HDR and Zero shutter delay. The tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and packs a 3,500mAh battery. Connectivity wise, the device includes a micro-SIM slot, Bluetooth, 3G support and Wi-Fi.
To overcome language barriers, Octa A41 is pre-loaded with multi-language keyboard containing 19 regional languages with read and write support. As an add-on, iBall is pre-loading the Asphalt A7 Heat full version for free in the tablet. At this price point and specifications, the device is a steal as octa-core tablets like the iBerry Auxus Core X8 is priced at Rs 20,400. The next in line comes the Samsung Galaxy Tab S which is priced at Rs Rs 35,860.
