Tomorrow morning two nations will come to a halt as India and Pakistan meet each other in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Google has paid tribute to this great rivalry with a doodle on its homepage.
The tribute is quite similar to the pre-World Cup doodle posted on Friday. The doodle shows two batsmen, two bowlers and two fielders in jerseys the color of the national flags. The alphabets forming the word Google is printed on the jerseys.
India and Pakistan are set to kick off their respective World Cup campaigns tomorrow and both will look for nothing less than a win. A win will not only set the tone for the tournament, but is also a thing of national pride. Both the countries have met six times in a World Cup, and India has won every game. Pakistan will look to better this record, so expect an scintillating encounter.
While the matches will be telecasted on Star Sports, the timing of the matches mean you won’t be able to catch all the matches. There are however other ways to follow the game. You can either use of these five apps for live streaming and score updates on-the-go. Even Twitter and Facebook have integrated new features to be able to follow the game on social media. BCCI has also teamed up with Twitter to offer game updates via missed call.
