Idea Cellular Durga Puja offer: How to get 10GB extra data for 7 days during Pujo season

Vodafone Idea is celebrating the launch of 4G services in Kolkata along with Pujo season. Here’s how to avail 10GB extra data.

Soon after the Vodafone Idea merger, the telecom operator is now going aggressive to take on rivals Airtel and Reliance Jio. Idea Cellular has launched 4G services for its subscribers in Kolkata. And to celebrate Navratri and Durga Pujo season, the company has announced some interesting freebies for its customers.

“We are delighted to extend our world-class 4G services to over 3.1 million Idea customers in Kolkata, Shivan Bhargava, Circle Head, Kolkata and RoB, Vodafone Idea said in a statement. Talking about freebies, Idea is offering complimentary 4G SIM card upgrade to its customers, and it can be availed by visiting any of the company s showroom or retail outlet across the city.

The telco is also offering free 10GB 4G data that will be valid for a period of seven days from the day of activation. This offer can be availed till October 2018. One thing to note is that the free data won t be automatically added to the user account, but will need to be claimed. To do this, customers need to dial ‘*800*444#’ from their Idea Cellular number in Kolkata.

The free data can be used for surfing websites, streaming music and movies, downloading apps, and more. Customers will also get an access to Digital Idea apps where they can listen to devotional songs on Idea Music, watch videos and TV on Idea Movies and TV app. That s not all, gaming enthusiasts can also play some exciting games via the Idea Games app.
