The Rs 149 plan offers you unlimited voice calls including roaming calls, 100 SMS per day, and 28GB of data for a validity of 28 days. The Rs 109 plan, on the other hand, is also valid for other others. However, for users in Himachal Pradesh, it offers different benefits. As Telecomtalk reports, the plan is valid for 28 days in the said region, as opposed to 14 days in other circles. It offers unlimited voice calls including roaming calls, 100 SMS per day and 1GB data for 28 days. Also Read - Airtel announces partnership with VOOT for premium content on Airtel Xstream
It is to be noted that by offering unlimited voice calls and roaming calls, Idea Cellular is capping the limit to 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. In comparison, Reliance Jio and Airtel offer unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit.
The latest revisions compete with similar plans offered by Airtel. The Rs 149 prepaid plan by Airtel offers 1GB/day data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day for a validity of 28 days. Against Idea Cellular’s Rs 109 plan is Airtel’s Rs 93 prepaid plan which offers similar benefits.
Meanwhile, Vodafone just introduced a new Rs 158 prepaid plan, under which it is offering 1GB/day data along with unlimited voice calls. However, this plan does not offer any SMS benefits and is currently limited to the Kerala circle. There’s again a limit to the voice calls and roaming calls. The calls are limited to 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week.
