Idea has revised four of its Nirvana postpaid plans today. The Vodafone-owned telecom operator now has just four Nirvana postpaid plans of Rs 399, Rs 499, Rs 999 and Rs 1,299, reports TelecomTalk. Earlier the company had total seven Nirvana plans.
The Rs 399 Nirvana Plan is the new cheapest plan now, it was earlier priced at Rs 389. Along with the price bump, Idea has also improved data benefits. The new Rs 399 Nirvana plan now offers a total of 40GB data, unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day.
Additionally, consumers will also be to carry forward a total of 200GB data on to next month usage, if left unused. Previously, the Rs 389 plan offered 20GB of data with same 200GB data carry forward scheme.
Coming to the Rs 499 Nirvana Plan postpaid plan, it now offers a total of 75GB 4G data for a month along with unlimited local, STD, roaming calls and 100 SMSes per day. Earlier the plan had 40GB data benefit. The Rs 999 plan offers better benefits with 100GB of data and all unlimited benefits like the the Rs 499 plan. Lastly, the Rs 1,299 Nirvana Plan now offers a total of 125GB data benefit for a month. Users also get unlimited voice calls and 100 SMSes per day, and there is same data carry forward option of up to 200GB.
Interestingly, the Rs 1,299 Nirvana plan also provides free 100 minutes of international calling to the US, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand on specific codes, adds report.
The Idea Nirvana postpaid plan users also have an option of opting Idea Phone Secure subscription. The Idea Phone Secure subscription scheme is valid for Rs 499 postpaid plan or above, and with this, Idea users will get anti-theft, antivirus & damage protection for their smartphone. Idea users Rs 499 postpaid plan or above get first four months of free Idea Phone Secure subscription in this scheme.
