Ahead of IFA 2018, LG has announced two new smartphones in its G7 series. The company has unveiled an Android One initiative smartphone – the LG G7 One with Snapdragon 835, and another one with Snapdragon 821, dubbed the LG G7 Fit. Both these smartphones will be showcased during IFA 2018 trade show, which is scheduled to start on August 31. The LG G7 One is first ever Android One smartphone in the market to launch with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835. Even for LG, it is their first ever smartphone in G-series to have Snapdragon 835, since LG G6 only had Snapdragon 821. Both, the LG G7 One and the LG G7 Fit, are quite alike in terms of specifications, except the processor and storage options difference. LG G7 One Specifications and Features
The LG G7 One is part of Google’s Android One initiative and it runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It boats of an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance along with military-grade MIL-STD 810G standard.
The handset features a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision panel with a notch on top and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It packs a fingerprint scanner on the back. The G7 One comes in only variant with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is also a microSD card option for expandability up to 512GB.
For cameras, the LG G7 One packs a single 16-megapixel camera with f/1.6 aperture at the back. The front camera is an 8MP selfie shooter with f/1.9 lens and 80-degree wide field of view. Other features include a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, Quad DAC, and DTS:X.
LG G7 Fit Specifications and Features
Upfront, the LG G7 Fit packs the same a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision panel with a notch on top and 19.5:9 aspect ratio as the G7 One. It comes in two variants. The 4GB RAM with 32GB storage as well as 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The 64GB variant will be marketed as the LG G7 Fit+ in some markets, says LG. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC.
Both variants will come with a microSD expandability option with up to 2TB. The smartphone also packs Quad DAC, water & dust-proofing like the G7 One.

As for cameras. the LG G7 Fit packs the same 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. It also packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3000mAh battery with USB Type-C and Quick Charge 3.0 support.
