IFA 2018: Redesigned Asus ZenBook 13, 14, and 15 with 8th Gen Intel processors announced

A new 'frameless NanoEdge display' on the new ZenBook series features up to 95 percent screen-to-body ratio at the front.

Asus has announced the all-new ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14, and ZenBook 15 at IFA 2018. The company says that the new ZenBook laptops are fully redesigned and come with stunning new frameless NanoEdge displays. The new ZenBook models feature military-grade (MIL-STD-810G) standards for durability.

The Asus ZenBook 13 (UX333), ZenBook 14 (UX433) and ZenBook 15 (UX533) have the world’s “smallest footprint” in its class, according to company. The ‘frameless NanoEdge display’ feature ultra-slim bezels and up to 95 percent screen-to-body ratio in up to 4K UHD resolution. These feature an ErgoLift hinge mechanism that tilts the keyboard for comfortable typing.

The new models in ZenBook series come with high-performance 8th-Generation Intel Core processors with up to i7 quad-core CPUs, up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q graphics, Bluetooth 5.0, gigabit-class Wi-Fi and ASUS Wi-Fi Master technology. The models will also come equipped with up to 1TB PCIe SSDs and up to 16GB of RAM.

The new ZenBook series is built to deliver better performance, featuring up to the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and a range of fast graphics options, including up to NVIDIA GeForce MX150 discrete graphics on ZenBook 13 and 14. The ZenBook 15 is equipped with high-performance NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q GPU.

These also include USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 port for data transfers up to 10Gbps, USB Type-A (up to 5Gbps or 10Gbps) and a USB 2.0 port. All models also include an HDMI port and a microSD or SD card reader.

Asus hasn’t announced the price and availability of ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14, and ZenBook 15 as yet, but these will be up for experience at the IFA 2018 from August 31 to September 5.
