IFA 2018 is less than a month away, and it’s one of the world’s biggest technology shows. The event is set to take place in Berlin, Germany from August 31 to September 5 this year, with many companies and brands taking part. Samsung has announced its presence at the event, where it will showcase all of its current line-up of products, as well as some concepts. The Korean electronics giant will also be holding a press conference on August 30 where it will kick off its presence at the show.
The company has shared its official invitation to the event, and from the images on the invitation, it looks like the focus will be on smart televisions, home appliances and smartphones, as is usually the case. We do know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is slated to have its own launch event on August 9, but it will be showcased at IFA 2018 for people to try out. It’s also likely that Samsung will unveil its next wearable, the Samsung Galaxy Watch, at the IFA 2018 press conference.
Samsung usually uses its IFA presence to showcase products from its home appliance line-up, and indeed some of the more elaborate displays are in that field. This year, it’s likely that the company will showcase smart refrigerators, washing machines and TVs, along with other popular concepts that it might be working on. The company is known for having the largest and most elaborate booth at IFA.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is less than a week from launch, and will be Samsung’s most powerful and feature-filled device yet. The IFA invitation does show a smartphone with a stylus, which is quite obviously the new Note 9. The phone is also expected to be the first Android smartphone to run Fortnite, the popular battle royale game by Epic Games.
