The study, conducted by McAfee, is all about celebrity name keywords search online that generate riskiest results, which that could potentially expose consumers to malicious websites and malware. McAfee is calling the list as ‘Most Sensational Celebrity’ for 2018. According to its study, Ilena D’Cruz is among top-10 dangerous keywords that could expose online web browsers to cyber-attacks. “While fans religiously track their icons, online security is often compromised over speed and convenience. Cyber criminals leverage this opportunity to lure unsuspicious users by directing them to malicious links that could be used to infect devices or steal identities. As a precaution, consumers need to think before they click and avoid suspicious links that promise free content featuring favorite celebrities, movies, TV shows or pictures to protect themselves from cyber fraud.” said Venkat Krishnapur, Vice-President of Engineering and Managing Director, McAfee.
Last year, Kapil Sharma had topped the same list by McAfee. This time around Barfi actor Ileana D’Cruz is number one celebrity on the list, followed by the likes of Preity Zinta, and Tabu. The top-10 list also included Kriti Sanon, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Rishi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, and Govinda in that order.
