We had earlier reported that Apple was reportedly planning to release the next-gen iPad mini with a Retina display. Now the folks at WeiPhone have come across what appears to be the images of the rear shell casing on the next-gen iPad mini. The images depict the exterior and the innards of the casing, which has a nice sleek look and is very similar to the current-gen iPad mini. There is a slight increase in the thickness of the casing compared to the one on the current-gen, which might have been done to accommodate the Retina display and probably a bigger battery.
Currently there is no other information available on the next-gen iPad mini, but we will update you as and when we have anything new.
