By the looks of it, the Galaxy Note 8.0 basically looks like an 8-inch Galaxy S III. It appears to be pretty confortable for one-handed use, in particular for reading books and it could give the iPad mini some stiff competition. The report also confirms the specs.The device has a 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and it will be rather slim at 7.95 mm.
It will also have 4,600 mAh battery and will also have variants with cellular connectivity. There have been rumors suggesting a sub $300 price and if that’s the case it will have the edge on the iPad mini in terms of specs and price.
