The ICC World T20 2016 fever is on and Google is back with its latest doodle for the tournament. Today s Google doodle is dedicated to one of the most anticipated matches, India vs Pakistan, which kicks off at 7:30PM IST at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Pakistan team led by skipper Shahid Afridi has lost to India in the previous tournament. Both teams faced off at the Asia Cup 2016 in Mirpur last month, where Pakistan tumbled to 83 all out, and lost to India.
While team India hasn t had the best of starts in the current tournament, Pakistan, easily defeated Bangladesh by 55 runs in their opening encounter. There s no doubt, the environment at Eden Gardens, and curiosity and excitement between the fans will surely make it a blockbuster of a game.
India is hosting the ICC World T20 for the very first time. The tournament matches will be played in seven cities across the country, with the final match pegged for April 3, at the iconic Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata.
