As India celebrates its 65th Republic Day today, Google has joined in on the celebrations by dedicating a doodle on its homepage. The stunt riders are literally carrying the doodle, with the left flank holding the letters ‘G’ and ‘O’, the rider on the top holding another ‘O’ and the right flank holding the alphabets ‘G’, ‘L’ and ‘E’. The team of motorcycle riders depicted in the doodle is the Indian Army’s ‘Dare Devils’ corp, which is famous for performing stunts and parading at big events like Republic Day Parade, the Army Day Parade, the ASIAD, the SAF and the Afro-Asian Games. The team has many world records to its credit, one of which is the “Largest Human Pyramid” consisting of 251 men on 11 motorcycles.
