The Mars Orbiter was inserted in Martian orbit Sep 24, 2014 is in good health, said officials of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The Mars Orbiter has sent different pictures of the red planet’s surface which are being studied by the scientists. India had sent its Mars Orbiter Nov 5, 2013 using its own rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).
