Transsion Holdings-owned smartphone brand Infinix has made its debut in India today. Infinix launched the Hot 4 Pro and Note 4 smartphones today, which are priced at Rs 7,499 and Rs 8,999 respectively. The smartphones will be available exclusively via Flipkart. The first sale for the Note 4 will take place on August 3 at 12:00PM, while the Hot 4 Pro will be available on August 3 starting at 11:59PM. In terms of design, the Hot 4 Pro features a metal body with a textured back. Up front, there are capacitive touch buttons and a fingerprint sensor on the rear end. The Hot 4 Pro is available in three colors of red, black and gold. With the Note 4, Infinix aims to provide a premium look with a metal finish and tapered edges. On the Note 4, the fingerprint sensor is embedded on the Home button.
Like most other smartphone brands, Infinix also has its custom UI called XOS. Some of its key features include Magazine Lockscreen, multi-window, Xshare and Freezer. Xshare lets users share files without the use of internet connectivity, and Freezer is a power saving mode which allows the smartphone to run keeping aside unused apps. Infinix Hot Pro 4 specifications, features
The Infinix Hot Pro 4 features a 5.5-inch HD (720p) display. Under its hood is a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM, and onboard storage of 16GB, which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
For photography, the Hot 4 Pro sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the front and rear cameras feature LED flash. Its connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, and Wi-Fi. The smartphone is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery along with support for quick charge. The Infinix Note 4, on the other hand, flaunts a bigger 5.7-inch full HD (1080p) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, and paired with 3GB of RAM. It also comes with 32GB of expandable storage. In the photography department, the Note 4 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-LED flash, and enhanced camera modes. Up front, it houses an 8-megapixel camera with customizable soft LED flash. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 4,300mAh battery along with XCharge fast charging support. Infinix says that Xcharge offers 75 percent charge in 60 minutes and 5five minutes of charge equals to two hours of talktime. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with XOS on top. Infinix’s new smartphones sit in one of the most competitive price segment in India.
