Hong Kong-based mobile brand Infinix is all set make its debut in India. The Transsion Holdings-owned smartphone brand was founded in 2012. The first smartphone from the company is currently being teased on Flipkart, which hints at the device being exclusive to the e-commerce platform. Infinix s website has also been updated for India, and the teaser video shows its flagship smartphones — Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus. The teaser video is actually the commercial clip for the Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus, which Infinix launched last December. Infinix could be launching both the smartphones in India, but nothing is confirmed as yet. The launch date isn t revealed either. The Infinix Zero 4 is priced at $300 (Rs 19,300 approximately), while the Zero 4 Plus is slightly costlier at $370 (Rs 23,800 approximately). In terms of design, both the smartphones feature a full metal unibody. There are two antenna bands running on top and bottom part of the smartphones.
Infinix Zero 4 Plus specifications, features
The higher variant of the two, the Infinix Zero 4 Plus, flaunts a 5.98-inch full HD IPS display with 2.5D glass and Corning s Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek s Helio X20 deca-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz, and paired with Mali-T880 GPU. In terms of memory, the Zero 4 Plus packs 4GB of RAM, and two storage options — 32GB and 64GB. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
In the photography department, the smartphone sports a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Laser Autofocus and Pro Mode for manual controls. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 4,000mAh battery along with XCharge 3A charging technology. On the software front, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with XOS on top. For connectivity, it comes with dual-SIM support, 4G, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi. It also has a rear fingerprint sensor. More features on the smartphone include Smart PA to monitor and control noise levels. It also comes with Smart Vocal Activation allowing users to start the smartphone with their own voice. The Infinix Zero 4, on the other hand, comes with a toned down set of specifications when compared to the Zero 4 Plus. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with Corning s Gorilla Glass protection. Under its hood is a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage. For photography, the Zero 4 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
