A UK-based storage company, Integral Memory has unveiled a 512GB microSD card, which is the highest so far. The card is also classified as SDXC UHS-I U1 card, Business Wire reports, and it is said to work with different devices such as Android smartphones, and tablets. The Integral 512GB microSD card will officially hit the market next month. The pricing details of the card are not yet known. Along with the card, you will also get a microSD card adapter, a protective case, and a five-year warranty.

The new 512GB microSDXC card has been performance tested with a range of smartphones and delivers up to Video Speed Class 10 rating, allowing for transfer speeds up to 80MB per second.

Commenting on the launch,  James Danton, marketing manager, Integral Memory said, “Consumers have been clear in their call for increased storage, as mobile devices have become essential to many in everyday life”. “The need to provide extended memory for smartphones, tablets and a growing range of other mobile devices such as action cams and drones has been answered. As a company, we are very proud to be the first to achieve the 512GB capacity milestone in microSDXC, worldwide,” he further added.

The Integral 512GB microSD card will take on the 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card that was launched last year at IFA 2017 conference. In comparison, the SanDisk Ultra 400GB microSD supports 100MB read speed, A1 app performance, and UHS Speed Class 1 for the best performance. The 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card is priced at $249.99 (Rs 15,900 approximately).
