Intex Aqua Power IV with 4,000mAh battery launched, priced at Rs 5,499: Specifications, features

The Intex Aqua Power IV boasts a 4,000mAh battery, and runs on Android Nougat.


Intex has launched a new smartphone under its Aqua-series, called the Aqua Power IV. The smartphone is priced at Rs 5,499, and will be available at all retail stores across India. Users will be able to choose from gold and black color options. One of the highlights of the affordable smartphone is that it comes with a 4,000mAh battery onboard.

In terms of design, the smartphone comes with a polycarbonate body and a rectangular box-like design. At the back, the smartphone has the camera module with LED flash placed at the top-left corner. The Intex logo is placed at the center. Up front, the smartphone comes with capacitive buttons at the bottom. The volume rocker and power buttons are placed on the right side of the phone.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone comes with 5-inch FWVGA display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone also comes with 16GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.


On the camera front, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel front and back camera. The rear camera is equipped with face-detection, HDR and Panorama features. The front camera is also equipped with front flash. The smartphone runs on Android Nougat out-of-the-box, and is pre-loaded with apps like QR Code scanner, Xender for sharing file and photos, and Gaana music app.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A comes with a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display. It is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 425 quad-core chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. On the camera front, the Redmi 4A has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The Moto C Plus, on the other hand, comes with Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch HD display, 1.35GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD Slot. For photography, it has an 8-megapixel camera on the rear, and a 2-megapixel snapper with LED flash on the front.
