Intex has just launched a couple of budget smartphones, called the Infie 33 and the Infie 3. The devices come with full view displays, and are priced at Rs 5,049 and Rs 4,649 respectively. Intex is planning to create a new sub-Rs 5,000 category of smartphones that feature taller 18:9 displays, and come with decent set of features. Intex Infie 33 specifications and features
The smartphone comes with a 5.34-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480×960 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by a Spreadtrum 1.3GHz quad-core chipset paired with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, and features Android Nougat operating system layered with Intex UI on top. In the camera department, it comes with a 5-megapixel sensor, both at the front and at the back. It is backed by a good set of features such as Bokeh mode, Face Beauty, Time lapse and Night mode. Intex Infie 3 specifications and features
The Infie 3 comes with a smaller 4.95-inch screen. It features the same 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, but is powered by an unspecified 1.1 GHz SoC, and a smaller 2,000mAh battery. The highlight here however is that the phone runs Android Oreo GO edition, which is the lighter version of the Android operating system, meant to work efficiently on low-end devices. The smartphone features a 5-megapixel camera at the rear, and a 2-megapixel camera at the front. It comes with more-or-less the same camera features as the Infie 33.
