At the ongoing Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2015, Intex today launched its first-ever wearable the iRist. The iRist is essentially a smartwatch running on Android 4.4.2 OS, and will be exclusively available on eBay India for Rs 11,999. Hit the break to see the Intex iRist from all possible angles.
In terms of design, the iRist breaks the mould by opting for a square form factor with dimensions of 44x44x14mm, and weighs 83 grams. It features a SIM card slot, and can be used a standalone device to make or receive calls as well as send text messages. It is also made for the outdoors with water resistant capabilities.
As for specifications, the iRist sports a 1.56-inch (240×240 pixels) OLED display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6752 dual-core processor. The smartwatch also features 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, 5-megapixel camera, and a 600mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 240 minutes of talktime and up to 200 hours on standby mode.
Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, USB, GPS, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.2.
