iOS 8.2 is pissing off users with these two glitches

At the sidelines of the Apple Watch launch, the Cupertino-based company also announced the release of iOS 8.2, the latest update to its mobile operating system. The update brings with it the support for Apple Watch, in addition to improvements in Health Kit and other bug fixes. The update, however, also comes with two features that not everyone is going to be pleased about.

As Forbes points out, the new update isn t addressing the WiFried bug. The infamous bug affects the wireless performance and has been around on the mobile operating since the first release of iOS 8 last year. Users have complained their iPhones and iPads have a tough time connecting to Wi-Fi networks and in some cases the battery draining in under six hours. But in the seven updates to the iOS 8 the company has pushed since, the issue continues to live on.

Many experts and users have complained about this issue — some on the official Apple Support Communities forum — but the company doesn t seem to care about it just yet. If that wasn t enough of an irresponsible behavior, it has also been accused of deleting such posts in an attempt to lower down such complaints.

The other feature that not all the users are going to like is the support for Apple Watch. The update adds an Apple Watch companion app which users can t remove. Less than two days after the rollout, several users are already expressing their agony on social media.

Sure, the companion app is necessary to get the Apple Watch working, but given that the company is only releasing its first wearable in nine countries in the first phase. Letting the app occupy precious space on the iPhone, whether the user is buying the Watch or not, is not something most users are able to stomach. That space is likely to brick their chances to get the next major update, after all.
