Apple is rumored to be working on a large-screened iPad, which is termed as iPad Pro. The tablet is expected to flaunt a 12.9-inch display, an A8X processor and 2GB of RAM. As mentioned above, it is not clear whether the stolen iPad is a prototype for the forthcoming iPad or an older model. Also Read - 5G on iPhone SE? According to the report, two suspects have been arrested and much of the items have been recovered. But the iPad is still in the air. “We are still investigating everything about this case,” sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. James Jensen said. The robbers took the device, along with electronics, prescription drugs and cash valued at $7,500 during the incident in which a 20-year-old man was kidnapped and robbed after answering a woman’s online advertisement.
This is not the first time, an Apple prototype has gone missing. A similar situation was witnessed before the launch of iPhone 4 when an Apple engineer left a prototype in a city bar. The model was later found by two men who sold it to Gizmodo blogger for $5,000. Steve Jobs called the publication to retrieve it, and the police even raided the writer’s home over the incident.
