Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are hitting retail stores in Australia, US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, and Singapore today. As expected, many people have started doing performance and benchmarks test on the devices. PhoneBuff did the first drop test on the two Apple devices, and sadly, the phones cracked under pressure. In the video, the device is dropped from many angles. Both the devices survived when they were dropped on the back. When the iPhone 6 was dropped on the side, it suffered no lasting damage, but the iPhone 6 Plus cracked when it landed on the side. Both the phones sustained further damage when falling on the face. The iPhone 6 was also dropped by the first customer in Perth, Australia, albeit accidentally, where the sales have already begun. Thankfully the device survived that impact causing no damage to the phone. Australia is seeing hundreds of Apple fans lining up to grab the device. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are scheduled to launch in India on October 17.
