Famous talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, yesterday dialled up funny to basically rip apart the new Apple iPhone X. Ellen started off subtle, taking a slight jab at the traditional big announcement remark Apple makes every time at events like these. Though she didn t spare the new iPhone 8 either. Ellen started off this segment by advising the viewers what they could now do with their existing iPhones, now that the new one is out. The iPhone X is out, so if anyone has an iPhone, just throw that away, she said. In fact, she says, since the iPhone X has been launched, the iPhone 8 makes no sense either, so throw that away too. And then quite understandably, she transitioned into explaining the mystery behind the name of iPhone. iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus launched, the series 9 should have followed, but Apple launched the X instead. But the laughs certainly didn t end there. Ellen went on to prove she s a straight-up comedic X-pert with her hysterical takedown of the new phones design and facial recognition. She says that what makes the new iPhone X standout from the older ones is the glass at the back.
Now she explains, that other than design, the glass has another purpose. (You d think she d say wireless, but she is not a bore) She says, that the glass at the back has been put for the ones who are not happy enough to break the glass on the front, so now have two sides to break. She even mocked the Face ID feature, where she counted the instances where the feature could possibly fail.
