IPL 2018: Reliance Jio Cricket Gold Pass with 102GB data, free match live stream, more launched

This Jio Cricket Gold Pass is exclusive to Jio Prime subscribers, however there is also a Rs 251 prepaid pack with similar benefits.

Riding on the IPL 2018 fever, Reliance Jio has launched a ‘Cricket Gold Pass’. This pass is exclusive to Jio Prime members, and will offer some special services to the users. The Gold Pass is available for free on MyJio app for the Prime members. Other prepaid users can also get this pass for Rs 251, where its called the ‘Cricket Season Pack’.

As part of its privilege of the pass, the Jio users will be able to enjoy free access to all IPL 2018 matches live. This is part of the partnership between Hotstar and Reliance Jio for the IPL season. Further, with the recharge, users will get a data pack of 102GB for 51 days.

With the offer, Jio users will be able to stream “almost every live match throughout the duration of 51 days starting April 7,” the company said in a press release. The IPL cricket season starts on April 7 and will continue till May 27.

On the MyJio app, the company has also launched a Jio Cricket Play-Along, called Jeeto Dhan Dhana Dhan game. The game is accessible to all Jio users in India, which can be played in around 11 Indian languages, and wherein users can win prizes worth crores.

In addition to that, there is also a Cricket comedy show that will be streaming on the app. Called Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Live, the show will feature comedian Sunil Grover and sports anchor, Samir Kochhar. It will be aired every Friday to Sunday at 7:30PM IST. The show premieres exclusively on MyJio app, available free to both Jio and non-Jio subscribers, on April 7, 2018.
