But before you jump and whoop in excitement, there is a small catch. SwiftKey’s keyboard is not likely to replace iOS’ default keyboard, as Apple doesn’t allow developers access to its core OS features. Instead, according to @evleaks, the keyboard could arrive in an app called SwiftKey Note. It is likely to be a note-taking app, which uses SwiftKey’s keyboard and you could type out all that you need and then share it via other apps. SwiftKey has a similar note-taking app targeted at medical professionals called SwiftKey Healthcare. This app lets them type out notes that include complicated medical jargon easily on iPads or Android tablets. We think SwiftKey Note could be a something similar in terms of functionality.
