Since last year we have heard about Samsung’s alleged plans of introducing a more premium Galaxy F lineup of smartphones to replace its current Galaxy S series of smartphones. The device in the above photo looks quite similar to the recently launched Galaxy S5, albeit more premium due to the use of metal. This could very well be the Galaxy S5 Prime we have been hearing about, only with a different nomenclature. According to a tip received by the leakster, the introduction of the Galaxy F smartphones will prove to be the end of the Galaxy S lineup, or in other words, there won’t be a Galaxy S6. As far as specifications are concerned, the device is likely to feature a 5.3-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 805 processor. The leakster further mentions that Samsung is believed to be launching the first Galaxy F smartphone at the company’s Unpacked episode 2 event later this year.
