Itel Mobiles today launched a trio of smartphones – S42, A44 Pro and A44. The smartphones belong to the company’s newer edge-to-edge screen portfolio. The Itel S42 is priced at Rs 8,499, the A44 is priced at Rs 5,799. The company is yet to announce the price of the A44 Pro model. The smartphones hit the offline market starting today. The highlight of all the smartphones is that they are equipped with the newer 18:9 displays, and pack fingerprint sensors at the back.
Itel S42 specifications, features
The Itel S42 is equipped with a 5.65-inch Full HD+ TFT IPS screen with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels, and a pixel density of 285 ppi. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
For optics, the smartphone is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF support and LED flash. Up front, there’s a 13-megapixel sensor with a dedicated LED flash.
The smartphone is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery. On the software front, the Itel S42 runs Android Oreo out-of-the-box. Other features include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0.
Itel 44 specifications, features
The Itel 44 and A44 Pro are equipped with 5.45-inch Full View FWVGA+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, MediaTek MT6737M SoC paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
For optics, the A44 includes 5-megapixel front and back cameras. The A44 Pro, on the other hand, is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. Both models are fueled by 2,400mAh battery. Other features include a fingerprint sensor and a smart key to enable Bike Mode feature.
