So, it s Christmas and you d think people must be busy hunting Santa, but turns out people have him in place but they are looking for his sheep. Since yesterday, a test picture of multiple Santa s with a sheep hid in it is trending. The image was created by a Hungarian artist Gergely Dud s, who posted an image of Santas to his blog, challenging his fans to find the sheep hiding in the sea of Santas. Honestly, while writing the story, I made multiple attempts, but I still couldn t spot the sheep. If you get frustrated after failing multiple times to spot the sheep, the solution is here. I have to admit, I had to sneak a look at the solution after staring at the delightful illustration for 15 minutes.
Although, before you peep into the solution, some people have hinted that looking at just the noses of the santas will help you find the animal more quickly, but that might just make you cross-eyed while looking for that crafty sheep. Dud s is known for such illustrations. For last Christmas, Dud s created a festive puzzle with an illustration of a panda hiding in a crowd of snowmen. Last December, he also posted another challenging illustration of a cat hiding in a flock of colorful owls.
Such test pictures catch a lot of attention of the crowd online. Few months ago, a picture of a 12 dot optical illusion nearly broke the internet. The image was basically multiple grey lines intersecting into each other, set against a white background. On the nodes of intersection of these lines were 12 dots, however, most people were unable to see all 12 dots at the same time. And that was making the social media go bonkers! Now if you look at that visual trickery, it is really mind boggling. Wherever you set sight on the image, you can see the black dots where the lines are intersecting, however when you move your vision around, the dots adjacent to the one you are looking at appear and disappear. I was unable to see more than three dots at once. I tried everything, tried to view it from different angles, i squinted my eyes, tried to see the image from different distances, to be able to see all 12 dots, but all I got at the end of my efforts was a headache. Just to be clear, there are in fact 12 dots.
