Reliance JioPhone 2 will be up on sale again on Jio.com on September 20 for the fifth flash sale. The second smart feature phone from Mukesh Ambani-led telecom player went on its fourth flash sale today. But if you could not purchase the JioPhone 2 since the device went out of stock quickly, then you can try your luck again on September 20 at 12:00PM.
The JioPhone 2 is the successor to the original JioPhone that was launched last year in India. The JioPhone 2 supports VoLTE and 4G connectivity. It was launched in July at a price of Rs 2,999. Reliance started selling the phone from August 15, and since then four flash sales have been conducted on Jio.com.
According to Reliance, the original JioPhone is the best-selling feature phone in India with nearly half of the feature phone market share. The plan for Reliance JioPhone starts from Rs 49, and these plans are especially made for both variants of the JioPhone.
Reliance JioPhone 2 price and specifications
At Rs 2,999, the JioPhone 2 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, and is accompanied by a full QWERTY keyboard. The smart feature phone matches the original variant in terms of internals, but comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It also supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

In the photography department, JioPhone 2 gets a 2-megapixel rear camera, and a 0.3-megapixel camera at the front for selfies and video calling. Running on KaiOS, it supports Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, Google Maps, and Google Assistant. The JioPhone 2 supports 4G VoLTE, making it one of the few feature phones in the market to support 4G connectivity. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery, and supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Voice over WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth.
