Announced at Reliance Industries Limited’s 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM), the JioPhone 2 has been quite successful in India, just like its predecessor. The ‘smart featurephone’ has been made available for purchase regularly through flash sales, ever since it went on sale from August 15 this year. If you couldn’t score one for yourself before, today’s your chance, as the phone will be up for grabs again at 12PM. Here’s everything you need to know.
JioPhone 2: Sale details, price, and offers
Reliance’s JioPhone 2 will be available for purchase starting 12PM today, on both jio.com and MyJio app. Considering that it’s a flash sale, the stock will almost certainly run out in no time. Therefore, we advise getting online a few minutes ahead of the sale’s commencement (on a stable network connection) to increase your chances.
The JioPhone 2 is priced at Rs 2,999. However, if you make the payment through Paytm wallet, you’ll get a flat cashback of Rs 200 off that price.
JioPhone 2: Specifications and features
Reliance’s JioPhone 2 has a 2.4-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 240×320 pixels. That said, the featurephone shares most of its internal hardware with last year’s JioPhone.
