JioPhone gets YouTube
Reliance JioPhone has now gained support for YouTube after WhatsApp. The YouTube app has been made available for download directly from JioStore. All JioPhone users can download the application. The app works similar to the application on other platforms and allows users to watch YouTube videos on the go. It also includes option to share the video with your friends via social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+. In order to download the YouTube app on your JioPhone, go to the JioStore from the main interface and then look for YouTube app from the listing. It is recommended that you look for latest software update on your JioPhone by heading to Settings >> Device >> Software Update.
OnePlus among top 5 premium Android OEMs globally
According to a latest report from Counterpoint Research, OnePlus is now among the top 5 premium Android vendors globally. OnePlus has been the fastest growing brand in the $400 (approximately Rs 30,000) to $600 (approximately Rs 44,000) segment. In Q2 2018, OnePlus grew faster (7 percent) compared to the overall segment (-1 percent). The premium segment, which comprises of devices above $400 (approximately Rs 30,000) and above, accounts for one-fifth of global smartphone market.
Realme 2 Pro specifications revealed by CEO
Ahead of Realme 2 Pro launch on September 27, the company’s CEO Madhav Seth has shared more information about the upcoming smartphone. The Realme 2 Pro will adopt waterdrop-style notch seen on smartphones such as the Oppo F9, Oppo F9 Pro and Vivo V11 Pro. It is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display with Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will pack Snapdragon 660 chipset.
Saregama Carvaan Premium launched in India
After the success of Saregama Carvaan, the popular Saregama-HMV group has now launched another audio digital player, the Saregama Carvaan Premium. It is priced at Rs 7,390 in India. The Saregama Carvaan Premium is now available on Saregama’s own website for purchase. The company will be offering a 1-year warranty on the device. It comes pre-loaded with 5,000 evergreen Hindi songs in all the different categories. And the new premium edition of the Caravan comes with a host of new features. It can now be connected to Android and iOS devices.
‘Google One’ launching in India soon
Earlier this year, Google introduced ‘Google One’, its new subscription-based storage offering some extra benefits. At that time, the company had said that all paid Google Drive customers would eventually be migrated to Google One. Having opened the service to all customers in the United States last month, the company has now announced that it’ll be launching ‘Google One’ in India soon.
Google One gives users more storage across a variety of Google services, such as Drive, Gmail, and Photos. In addition to upgrading previous plans, the company also has some new options, featuring storage from 100GB to 30TB.
