Karbonn has launched two new budget Android 4.4 KitKat smartphones called the A1+ Super and the A5 Turbo. The A5 Turbo is priced at Rs 3,290, while the A1+ Super is priced at Rs 3,490. The Karbonn A1+ Super has a 3.5-inch HVGA display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage. For photography, there is a 3-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a VGA front-facing camera. The phone sports dual-SIM connectivity, though it does not support 3G network. Other features in the phone include support for up to 32GB of external storage using a microSD card, and connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The phone also features proximity and G-sensor.
The Karbonn A5 Turbo too comes with a similar 3.5-inch HVGA display, but is powered by a 1GHz processor with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone has a 3-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Like the other model this one too comes with G-sensor and proximity sensor.
Karbonn has a growing list of affordable Android KitKat smartphones that include the recently launched Smart A12*, Smart A11*, Titanium S99 and the above two smartphones.
